The Sigma Chi International Fraternity offers two separate internship opportunities throughout the summer months. One is with Sigma Chi International Headquarters supporting the Balfour Leadership Training Workshop, while the other is affiliated with the Horizons leadership development program.

Please read the descriptions below for more information about each opportunity. The applications for each internship are separate, but undergraduates are allowed to apply for both opportunities. Traditionally, undergraduate members can only be accepted into one program each year.

Headquarters Summer Internship

Sigma Chi Fraternity International Headquarters is an excellent place to learn and hone your professional skills while advancing the interests of our Order. Here you will find brotherhood, opportunity, responsibility, challenge and reward. This year, the Fraternity is offering the opportunity for exceptional brothers to work as summer interns at Sigma Chi International Fraternity Headquarters in Evanston, Ill. These internships will run for just over 8 weeks, starting at the beginning of June and ending with Balfour Leadership Training Workshop (LTW) in August. Additional interns will be asked to join the Leadership Programs team at Headquarters just two weeks prior to Balfour LTW and assist while on-site at Bowling Green State University. Interns will have the opportunity to be involved with almost every aspect of the Fraternity's operations and will receive travel, housing and eating allowances, as well as ample time to enjoy the sights and sounds of Chicago. In addition, each intern will receive a scholarship for his services.

Horizons Summer Internship

The Sigma Chi International Fraternity has taken great strides in continually providing leadership development opportunities for each of its undergraduate members. In addition to participating in the Horizons leadership development program, undergraduates are also eligible to serve the Fraternity as an intern on the logistics team and member of the Horizons operating board after attending the program as a participant.
